Leveraging the Iridium Certus® satellite network, SkyLink Citadel provides two HD voice lines and the ability to send and receive messages and emails from a laptop. The mid-band data rate offers 88 kbps download and 22 kbps upload. With the flick of a switch, a SOS message is transmitted off the ship and battery backup ensures communications, even if the external power is shut down.
