Ümumi mətn mesajı məlumatı

• Mətn mesajını qəbul etmək üçün peyk telefonunuz “yandırılmış” və xidmətdə olmalıdır.

• Telefonunuz “söndürülmüş” olduqda, telefonunuz yandırılana və xidmətdə olana qədər mesajınız mesaj mərkəzində saxlanılacaq. Sizə yeni mətn mesajı barədə aşağıdakı yollarla məlumat verilir:

– Siqnal səslənir və/yaxud telefon titrəyir

– Mesaj göstəricisi göstərilir

– 'NewSMS. İndi oxuyun?' göstərilir;

Mətn mesajları alın

1. Yeni mesaj aldığınız zaman siz 'NewSMS. İndi oxuyun?' telefonunuzda göstərilir.

2. 'Bəli' seçim düyməsini basın və mesajı daha sonra oxumaq üçün "Mətn mesajlarını başqa Iridium və ya mobil telefona göndər" (aşağıda) ilə davam edin və ya "Xeyr" yumşaq düyməsini basın.

Başqa Iridium və ya mobil telefona mətn mesajları göndərin

1. Əsas ekrandan başlayaraq, sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'Menyu' seçin.

2. 'Mesajlar' vurğulanana qədər sürüşdürmək üçün iki yönlü navi-düyməni istifadə edin, sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'Seç'.

3. 'Mesaj yarat' artıq vurğulanacaq, sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'Seç'.

4. Klaviaturadan istifadə edərək mesajınızı yazın. Sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'Seçimlər' seçin.

5. "Göndər" artıq vurğulanacaq, sol seçim düyməsini sıxmaqla "Seç".

6. 'Yeni alıcı' artıq vurğulanacaq, sağ seçim düyməsini sıxmaqla 'Əlavə et'.

7. 'Nömrəni daxil et' artıq vurğulanacaq, sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'Seç'.

8. Təyinat telefon nömrəsini, qarşısında '+' işarəsi ilə daxil edin, sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'OK' seçin.

9. Sol yumşaq düyməni basaraq 'Göndər'. Misal: Mətn mesajınızı göndərdiyiniz Iridium nömrəsi (8816) 555 55555-dirsə, siz +8816 555 55555 yığacaqsınız. Əgər mətn mesajınızı göndərdiyiniz mobil nömrə (212) 555 1212-dirsə, siz +1 212 555 1212 yığacaqsınız.

Can I still get text messages while on a data call?

Yes. The phone will provide an audio alert and prompt you to read the text message. This will NOT interrupt a data call or cause a loss of a connection.

How do i access my personal / voice mailbox?

1) Dial MSISDN/ISDN-A or 8816 629 90000.

2) Wait for voice prompt.

3) Enter the number you are trying to reach.

4) Interrupt voicemail greeting by pressing *.

5) Wait for prompt to enter password.

How do I send an email message to my Iridium pager or phone?

Emails can be sent to Iridium pagers or phones by entering the phone or pager number into the following address: 8816[number]@msg.iridium.com.

How long will it take for the message to get to the user?

Delivery time for Iridium pager messages depends on the length of the message, and the routing time to the pager. Most messages will be delivered within seven minutes, with the remainder being delivered within 15 minutes.

What do I do if i receive a "Missed Message" notification?

Selection option "6" from your personal mailbox to request retransmission of the missed message.

What happens when I reach my maximum number of messages?

The oldest message will be deleted from your folder and replaced with the most current message. The oldest message is not retrievable once it is deleted.

What is the longest message I can send?

You may send a maximum of 160 characters. Any messages in excess of 160 characters will be truncated.

What phone or pager number do i use?

Enter the Iridium customer's Iridium pager or phone number (starting with 8816).

Can I send a CANNED message to one GPS quick list recipient from my Iridium Extreme®?

No, when you select GPS quick list, all programmed GPS quick list recipients will receive the same CANNED message.

If the message sent from the portal to the Iridium Extreme® exceeds Iridium's 160 character limit, will I still receive the entire message?

Yes, depending on the total number of characters, the message will be sent out via multiple messages.

Is it possible to manage the phone address book on my computer?

Yes, currently, the SIM phonebook tool is intended to give customers the ability to copy 9505A or 9555 handset Phone Book information as follows: From a 9505A or 9555 handset to a .csv file From a .csv file to 9505A or 9555 handset.

Why can't I send text messages to an Iridium phone through your website?

Ensure that you are entering a 12-digit number in this format 8816XXXXXXXX. Do not add any spaces or dashes. If you are still having problems, emails can be sent to Iridium phones by entering the Iridium phone number into the following address: [email protected]

Why can't I receive SMS messages on my Iridium handset?

Check to ensure that the folder capacity (outgoing, incoming and draft) has not exceeded 30 messages. Also, that your phone is registered. To test registration on the phone, Iridium has created a test number; 001-480-752-5105. There are no charges for performing this test. Additional information on SMS messaging service can be found in the user manual, section 7, titled "Using the messages menu".
